Hi Everyone,
During this trip, I have stayed in a few hotels due to the location of the concert and the timing of it all. I guess I’m only by myself so it’s easy to move around. Another hotel I’ve stayed in is called Centara Watergate Pavilion Hotel. The hotel is very central to the big malls like Central World which I like to go to often and it’s also walkable to all the other malls around the area. The only downside is public transport is a little bit of a walk so in the heat, it does get a bit tiring but I normally order Grab if I need to walk further than I needed.
The hotel is located on the higher floors of the building so even though the area is super busy with lots of traffic and people, you don’t hear anything from above. My room had two single beds which isn’t a huge issue, I like to lay out all my stuff to get ready for the next day on the bed so that is handy.
The bathroom was huge! It didn’t have a bathroom but I loved the layout, there was plenty of room and the large sink basin to allow me to put all my toiletry out. The hotel also provided lots of amenities which was handy if you missed anything.
Although the room was not that big, it was really sufficient enough for me to get comfortable. The view of the room on the 17th floor was pretty nice. I was overlooking the city with the main highway ahead and could see Phuwin’s new ad campaign ahead every morning (he is one of the Thai stars I follow). As I mentioned, the room was very quiet even though it was located in such a busy location.
The only downside in my room is that there wasn’t a nice table for me to work on. It only had a small round glass table which is normally occupied with my fruit and drinks, not even big enough for my laptop so I need to work on the bed. Also, the TV was not very big so even in such a small room, the TV was pretty small. The TV stations provided were very basic, the worst so far from the two Novotel I stayed in on this trip. For the price I paid for this stay, I probably won’t stay here in particular because there is no pool here and I could get a better room elsewhere for a better price.
