In today's post, I share a few pictures from Thursday along with my Actifit report card.
I always feel lucky to be outside to catch a sunset. I was on my way home at the end of the day and had to stop in this parking lot to walk around and take some pictures of this spectacular display.
When I arrived home, it was already dark. I was really tired but still pushed myself out the door for a walk to meet my step goals. I hit 11,216 steps by the time the day was done, surpassing my daily goal of 10,000 steps for the fourth consecutive day. Last Sunday, I set a goal to get at least 10,000 steps every day for seven days in a row. Today is day four of seven.
Due to Actifit, once you have 5,000 or 10,000 Steps/Activity for the day, not posting an activity report for proof of activity is leaving money on the table in terms of missed AFIT rewards. I find that interesting and motivating. So no matter what, if I hit the minimum 5k threshold for AFIT rewards, I will do my best to get a post up. I'm starting to see how Actifit is gamifying exercise, and I am enjoying this the gameplay loop.
Thank you for reading, that's all for Thursday. Through working towards and reporting on my daily activity goals, I am #AliveAndThriving. I hope your day is full of positive experiences, and look forward to reporting on tomorrow's adventures in being alive!
Peace, thoth442
