Hi, Hivians!
Today is the happy 16th week of my initiative.
Last week we talked about superstitions. It was interesting to read this from different parts of the world and realize how many different superstitions we have. Different from each other, although there are some overlaps. The history of each land gave birth to its images, fears, and protection from bad things in the future in its own way. From what I gather, many don't believe in it, but continue some of the ancestral traditions, as I actually do. 😜
So, we've already had our luck and superstitions. I think it's time to talk about motivation. What keeps us going when the odds are slim or the future is not clear. We are not robots, so many factors can stop us in our tracks. Burnout, depression, apathy, or just plain fatigue that ends as instantly as it begins. Motivation definitely helps me in these cases.
Sometimes it can be an inspirational YouTube video or a fiction book. Sometimes a conversation with friends or an amazing life story. Maybe a beautiful sunset or someone's act from everyday life. There are so many motivating things around if you look closely.
But more often than not, I am inspired and motivated by my plans, goals, and accomplishing them. Also, what I can do for family and friends and give to this world without asking for anything in return. The pictures my brain paints make me sometimes get up and start doing. And by doing, I get inspired to do more and better. It's as if the energy comes from the air and envelops everything around me.
Charging the air and people, the energy comes back again.
Perpetual motion in action.
What inspires or motivates you the most or most often?
I will, as always, end my thoughts at the end of this post. Now to business!
Today is the 16th round of my giveaway gratitude, and I'm glad so many people supported the idea and participated in my act of gratitude and gratuitous giving. I will be giving away 5 HSBI + 1 this week and beyond. Another 1 HSBI I will be giving away as a token of my appreciation for various things. It can be a sincere comment or just a contribution to Hive life. Perhaps it will be advice to me or to the community. Or it might even be the bitter truth spoken to my (and only me!) face! In fact, I don't really know what or who will inspire me yet, myself. But from this day forward, I will be giving my thanks to one more participant on my own behalf! I think it will be interesting! So let's get started!
Goal
As I wrote in the first post Giveaway of Gratitude. 5 HSBI. CLOSED!, I give every day and want to take it to Hive! The purpose of this next giveaway is to give back to Hive and its members my share of appreciation and love! This is a gratuitous giveaway. That is, if the payout for this post is 5.01 Hive, I will give away 6 HSBI! The only thing I get is your love and part of the Hive SBI (that's how HSBI works).
What is HSBI
HSBI is a social experiment that has grown into something bigger. I have read many posts and other information about it. In my opinion, it is worthy of both Hive and this world in general! If you don't already know what HSBI (Hive SBI) is, read this post: Hive SBI
Why am I leaning specifically toward HSBI? Because this value that I give away also stays at Hive. It also shows my love for this blockchain and everyone involved!
Rules
- Leave a comment below the post.
- Wait 7 days from the time the post is published.
- Bots and multi-accounts are not participating and will be tracked manually by me. That's what the 7 days are for.
- The five winners will each receive 1 HSBI.
- One participant I choose will receive 1 HSBI personally from me! I will publish the reasons in my next post.
It's simple, isn't it? If it is, then go for it! I'd love to see your love for the entire Hive community!
I will acknowledge all the past giveaway participants. If you're not interested in further mention, just let me know in the comments under the post and forgive me if it bothered you!
Past giveaway winners:
@ littlebee4, @ oasiskp2, @ fantagira, @ arieruzzzz, @ almajandra
+1 @ tydynrain
Congratulations, guys!
The sixth winner, I chose my Hive brother. I think we are about on the same page and sometimes understand each other between the lines. And I wasn't surprised when another of his comments last week went right through me and came back, hitting right on target!
I've been catching numbers on my watch for years, including 11:11. And for myself, I decided a long time ago that this is a good sign to move on). Perhaps that's why I was very surprised by his comment specifically!
Dear @ tydynrain, brother, thanks for your continued presence here no matter what! You know the rest yourself. Keep up the good work!
All the appreciation awards were sent out about 10 hours ago, But I still don't see the execution of this request. I saw a similar problem from Hive members this week, so I'll mention @steembasicincome this time. If that doesn't help, I'll try to contact them another way. Here are my current HSBI figures ⬇️
Conclusion
Motivation doesn't work.
I have heard this many times. I only know one thing. Nothing works if you don't get off the couch or give your endeavors a chance.
And everything works if you have faith. Perhaps faith motivates me the most right now. Faith does amazing things!
Remember this! Peace!
That's all for now! Hive ON! Hive Five! We Are Alive!
