The saying Life is never a bed of roses keeps coming to reality as the day goes by just as we keep getting older.
Ohh! I miss the good old carefree days when life was as simple as sleeping, waking up , taking my bath , playing and then coming back home to eat and boom! My parents already has what to give me and the cycle continues...just rinse and repeat.
Getting older attracts responsibility and responsibilities attracts thoughts on how to achieve them.. that's just the bittersweet reality of adulthood; challenging as it may yet inevitable.
The festive season is here again and isn't even helping matters at all as prices of things keep skyrocketing but you know what loves us unconditionally in this world right now?
MUSICS, heheh.. come to think of it, it's all there in our gadgets and the soothing sounds makes us momentarily forget all that bothers us.
Just reminscing over my past few days and how to navigate this period without much ordeal came a song which made me leave everything I was thinking about, it just felt like an electroconvulsive therapy session shifting my minds away from the weight of reality to just a realm of solace...
The song? "Little Bit Better By Caleb Hearn"
This is a song that captures resilience, steadfastness and the human desire to keep growing.
Caleb Hearn did a beautiful thing with this work of art especially in the way he made simple words carry such powerful narrative of hopes, like he's sure all is well just by him saying them.
Life's always filled with ups and downs; a pendulum that never stops oscillating. The good times make us laugh while the bad times make us question ourselves but the truth is that without those little bad times, we will never get to appreciate the good times so so well.
The bad moments shouldn't also deny us our inner peace but rather, we should always take the baby steps at all times in the right direction.
What I so much love about this song isn't the fact that it is a motivational piece but the fact that it admitted that things are hard, it didn't see hardship as illusions that never exist but rather, it accepted them and then with the soothing rendition, Caleb will say, "they will get little bit better" reminding us that progress is never a rocket science but what will come gradually as we keep taking the baby steps towards our goal rather than promising some unrealistic resolutions to life challenges.

For this song to divert my whole minds which was running in deep thoughts speaks volume of how good it is.. It was that good that I shared it with my friend immediately and her review on the song was also fantastic.
I am certain that this will be a great addition to your playlist.
What is it that sparks a fire in your soul on the days when the world feels heavy and you don't know which direction to go next?
Mine is music, What about you?
Thanks for reading and have a nice day ahead 👍
