Homes out in the country depend on drilled wells for household water.
In Colorado our water well was 495 foot deep. When it felt like it Lol…….
the well pump would pick up sand and lock up!😳
The first time this happened, I was working as a skycap at the local airport.
We had six foot deep snow in our pasture. This was where our well was located. What a massive job it would have been to snowplow a road approx 500 feet down into our lower pasture to replace a pump motor!🙄. After several hours the pump restarted!😇
This situation repeated over and over ……

This was the beginning of Silvertop’s “PTSD” with water wells!😳
Our water well at our home in the Pacific Northwest foothills is only 125 foot deep.
We have discovered by talking to neighbors that our well is one of, if not the best, water supply wells on our street!👍
Still Silvertop carries his water well PTSD with him to this day….😮
Today was the day………….
Our hot tub was set up, and PEPE asked ……….

I didn’t want to work our well filling a hot tub. That’s when I discovered that you can buy truckloads of water at the courthouse of our local Canadian/ US border crossing town of Sumas Washington!👍
Looking at the third photo, you can the small town of Sumas, and Silvertop’s home far off in the foothills in the background.
Two trips filling and transporting 500 liters/ 132 gallons of water, that weighed approximately 1,100 pounds.
Up hills with my truck………..😅
“Liz, the hot tub is filled, and I have extra water that you can use for your garden!”🥰
Tomorrow Silvertop will start heating the hot tub with free Solar electricity!😎
