Hot Chicken Soup makes a good starter

Greetings dear Hiveans !!! Hope the week days are moving happily and potentially for all Hiveans. When you are hungry, you find any food delicious. And when it comes especially from our kitchen, not to say they are the healthiest one. How about a starter with soup.

Here, Iam preparing a chicken soup for the contest put forward by the @qurator team for Hive Top Chef competition . The recipe being Soup. Let me share you my simple recipe.

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

  1. CHICKEN PIECES- 200 gm
  2. FRESH WHOLE CORN - 1
  3. ONION - 1 Small chopped to small piece
  4. TOMATO - 1 medium sized chopped to small piece
  5. GINGER - 1 tsp crushed
  6. GARLIC - 1 tsp crushed
  7. CORN FLOUR - 2 tablespoon
  8. WARM WATER - 1/2 glass
  9. BLACK PEPPER - 1 tsp
  10. WATER - 800 ml
  11. SALT - to taste

PREPARATION METHOD

STEP - 1





Clean the chicken and keep aside. Remove the outer sheath of the Corn. Now, pllace a cooker in the stove with the mentioned amount of water, add the cleaned chicken and Corn along with the chopped onions, grated tonato and crushed ginger garlic paste.

STEP - 2





Close the lid and pressure cook for just 1 whistle. Switch off the flame. Let it remain in the closed state for an hour. After an hour, open the lid and remove the chicken pieces and whole corn . Now shred the chicken to small pieces and remove the corn grains from the kernel.

Once again add the shreded chicken pieces and the corn grains to the cooked items in the cooker. Switch on the flame to a medium. Now, Mix Corn flour in half a glass of warm water and dilute it well. Now add this mixture to the soup and to it add black pepper. You can see the soup getting thickened a little, half semi solid. Check the salt and pepper and switch off.

Note: You can gatnish it with spring onion, which gives a strong flavour and aroma. As this is not available in my nearby marked, I switched on to coriander leaves, which was also tasty.

Last but not not the least, you can add lemon or vinegar to the soup which ultimately increases the taste.

Your soup is ready to be served hot. Enjoy !!!
