(RP) Last Sunday we were in THE NEIGHBORHOOD VILLAGE to celebrate his birthday, and I have to confess that we ate many, too many cakes, but they were excellent and impossible to resist.
The children had helped to make them, and their pride was matched only by their greed.
I don't think any of us really knew how old this village was, but when we asked some of its oldest inhabitants, we learned that it had been founded 93 years ago.
It's very old and doesn't look it, because it's so well maintained, which is a great motivation for our villagers, whom I regularly encourage to repair their houses.
Our little contest to guess the age of the village names @almajandra as the winner with the closest answer: 86 my compliments!
I return the participation papers to those who ask for them, they're in my pockets.

(RP) Dimanche dernier nous étions dans LE VILLAGE voisin pour fêter son anniversaire et je dois avouer que nous avons mangé beaucoup, trop, de gâteaux, mais ils étaient excellents et impossible de résister.
Les enfants avaient participé à leur confection et leur fierté n'a eu d'égale que leur gourmandise à les déguster.

Je crois que personne parmi nous ne savait vraiment l'âge de ce village, en questionnant les plus anciens de ses habitants nous avons appris qu'il avait été fondé il y a 93 ans.
C'est très vieux et il n'y parait pas tellement il est bien entretenu, voilà une belle motivation pour nos villageois que j'incite régulièrement à réparer leurs maisons.
