THE VILLAGE DIARY:
Yesterday we cleared the forest around the village to gain visibility of any approaching Infected.
It was hard work, but we managed to cut down six large trees that were blocking our field of vision.
The wood recovered in this way has enabled us to replenish our stock and will be used for several projects.
For example, @itharagaian is designing a ballista, which he'll be able to start making in a few days' time.
But for the time being, I'm going to ask the villagers to drill loopholes in our fence, as we haven't yet installed a sentry walk.
The fighters will continue to improve their skills on the training ground and take on new recruits, as we continue to welcome small groups of refugees almost every day.

LE JOURNAL DU VILLAGE:
Hier nous avons déboisé autour du village pour gagner en visibilité sur les infectés qui pourraient approcher.
Le travail a été difficile, mais nous avons pu abattre six grands arbres qui bouchaient notre champ de vision.
Le bois ainsi récupéré nous permet de refaire notre stock et servira à plusieurs projets.
@itharagaian par exemple est en train de concevoir le plan d'une baliste qu'il pourra commencer à fabriquer dans quelques jours.
Mais dans l'immédiat, je vais demander aux villageois de percer des meurtrières dans notre palissade car nous n'avons pas encore installé de chemin de ronde.
Les combattants vont continuer à améliorer leurs compétences sur le terrain d'entrainement et prendre en charge les nouvelles recrues, car nous continuons à accueillir de petits groupes de réfugiés presque tous les jours.
