Yesterday was my record number of steps since starting actifit! I have accompanied it by going on a walk around Seattle, mostly on the Seattle waterfront.
We got to Seattle for my wife's business event downtown. Since it was later in the day, I decided to come along to help with carpool lane usage.
It was also an opportunity for a walk on the waterfront and see all the changes in the last four years.
I used to work downtown four days a week, but since the COVID pandemic, we work from home and many things in Seattle changed in last four years! For example this pedestrian walkway bridge in the image above is new.
Everything in the image above is also new, even some of the buildings in the background are new.
Some of the buildings are still classic Seattle waterfront but many new structures and pedestrian walkways have been built and construction is still very much ongoing.
I used to go for a walk or run almost every lunch break in this area of downtown Seattle all the way to Olympic Sculpture Park:
And Olympic Sculpture Park is just the beginning of a great waterfront park that starts right after it.
Times have changed, but recently it was announced that we are coming back to the office three times a week which would be a huge bummer.
After my walk I stopped by Skalka: a great place for Georgian food. Georgia as a country in Caucasus not the state of Georgia and picked up five "boats". Two beefstroganoff one veggie and two cheese boats.
I love food which is why I also stay active to stay in shape!
