Hey there my Hive friends and followers!
I was pretty sure the update post that I published here on my blog a couple of weeks ago was the last one of the year for me but immersed in the lovely festive atmosphere of the upcoming Christmas, I decided to create this little Christmas greeting from my Czech hometown to you guys. Nothing fancy, just a few lines and some pictures that I have taken here over the past few days.
As you might remember from the previous post, my hometown got destroyed by devastating floods just some 3 months ago. With literally 1/3 of the city under the water back then, it seemed almost impossible to even think that the city could conjure up these magical Christmas vibes like it did every year before. But obviously, miracles do happen at Christmas and here we are, enjoying the beautiful Christmas lights all over the city center, sipping on mulled wine and Christmas punch, singing carols with our families and friends. It will take years to fully restore the city but now during the holiday season, people want to forget about the problems. Christmas is hope, peace and love. Even here.
