Today is Sunday, it's already night, and I'm closing the day, although since my work and rest schedules are a bit altered, you might think that I might be in the middle of the day doing some work on the computer. For today's record, I was thinking of taking some of the ephemeris of #History that had international resonance, but after a while, I decided to do it at a more local or national level, after all, it is something that it also has to do with my daily #life in my current #Venezuela.

Hoy es domingo, ya es de noche y estoy cerrando el día, aunque como mis horarios de trabajo y descanso están un poco alterados, se podría pensar que puede que esté a mitad de jornada de algún trabajo en la computadora. Para el registro del día de hoy, estaba pensando en tomar alguna de las efemérides de la #Historia que tuvieran resonancia internacional, pero luego de un rato, me decidí a hacerlo a nivel más local o nacional, después de todo, es una cosa que también tiene que ver con mi #vida diaria en mi #Venezuela actual.

Today is Youth Day in Venezuela, a date that originally has a strong military root and pays tribute to a battle from the time of the fight for the independence of Venezuela, over the centuries, the date has left a lot behind of its military sense, and the celebration has taken on a more festive and relaxed tone, at least from my point of view.
I clarify that in this 21st century of mine, during the social protests that occurred in my country almost a decade ago, the clashes between government forces and opponents led to street fights that caused many deaths, mostly on the side of opponents of the government, and in general of very young people. That was kind of unfortunate.

Hoy es el Día de la Juventud en Venezuela, una fecha que en su origen tiene una fuerte raíz militar y de homenaje a una batalla del tiempo de la lucha por la independencia de Venezuela, con el paso de los siglos, la fecha ha dejado mucho de su sentido militar, y la celebración ha tomado un tomo más festivo y relajado, al menos desde mi punto de vista.
Aclaro que en este Siglo XXI mío, durante las protestas sociales ocurridas en mi país hace casi una década, los enfrentamientos entre fuerzas del gobierno y los opositores condujo a luchas callejeras que ocasionaron muchas muertes, en su mayoría del bando de los opositores al gobierno, y en general de gente muy joven. Eso fue algo lamentable.
Aclaro que en este Siglo XXI mío, durante las protestas sociales ocurridas en mi país hace casi una década, los enfrentamientos entre fuerzas del gobierno y los opositores condujo a luchas callejeras que ocasionaron muchas muertes, en su mayoría del bando de los opositores al gobierno, y en general de gente muy joven. Eso fue algo lamentable.

I once read in a novel that a friend of mine translated that "each new life is a promise of the future" so that each young life that is lost is a future that dies before having borne its fruits.
I think I'm getting a little heavy on the topic of registration of the day. Let's recap things better, because I think this post is going to be short. I must point out in my personal matters that I have been calm and quiet, without major incidents, we went through a cold wave that is a bit strange for this season of the year, and my health is stable. In international matters, perhaps what caught my attention the most from the little news I reviewed, is about the proliferation of #UFOs that has occurred this week, it really is like a lot. As for national things, well, I already said that we are celebrating #YouthDay.

Alguna vez leí en una novela que traducía un amigo mío que “cada nueva vida es una promesa de futuro” así que cada vida joven que se pierde es un futuro que muere antes de haber dado sus frutos.
Creo que me estoy poniendo un poco pesado para el tema del registro del día. Mejor recapitulemos las cosas, pues creo que este post va a ser corto. Debo señalar en mis cosas personales que he estado en calma y tranquilo, sin mayores incidentes, pasamos por una ola de frío que nos resulta un poco rara para esta temporada del año, y mi salud está estable. En cuestiones internacionales, quizás lo que más me llamó la atención de lo poco que revisé de las noticias, es sobre la proliferación de #OVNI que ha ocurrido en esta semana, de verdad que es como que mucho. En cuanto cosas nacionales, bueno, ya he dicho que estamos celebrando el #DiaDeLaJuventud.
