Esta Sailor estaba siendo controlada por una entidad maligna que había sido colocada en su cuerpo, pero al final del tercer arco, debido a multiples cosas que suceden, logra liberarse del control y sacrifica su vida para proteger a sus amigas. Pues la personalidad de Tomoe, había hecho amistad con la más pequeña de las guardianas del grupo de las Sailors, Chibiusa, y deseaba proteger el mundo en que su única amiga existía.
Para proteger lo que amaba, debía pagar un precio. Y en este caso, el precio de usar seriamente su poder, era dar su propia vida. Me hacía recordar la vieja frase de ‘encarar la muerte para proteger la vida’, pero en este caso no era para proteger su propia vida, sino la vida de la única persona que la trató como una ‘humana’ y le dio calidez a su existencia. En serio, esa parte de la trama me atrapó y me llevó a tener que buscar el resto de la historia para saber como iba todo el asunto.
