This is the #life I have, and I have to accept it as my reality in order to keep a clear head.

Resulta que es una fecha de importancia en distintos aspectos, por lo que, al buscar las páginas oficiales de esta celebración, encontré con más de las que me esperaba, voy a compartir solamente unas cuantas:

En el caso de Venezuela, mi país, sucede que, hasta este siglo, no había sido un país con fuerte flujo migratorio hacia fuera, de hecho, era un país receptor de migración de muy distintas partes del mundo y tenía una pujanza industrial y petrolera que le permitía adsorber la mano de obra que llegaba y lograba seguir adelante con todo. Pero en este Siglo XXI, con la llegada al poder de un gobierno de corte autocrático, con inspiración estatista de izquierda y tinte socialista, se desató una corrupción política y una decadencia social y política, como no se había visto en este país en más de 100 años.
Esto nos llevó también a una polarización y a una persecución por parte del gobierno contra la población que se le oponía, entre todo esto, se provocó una fuerte migración por primera vez en la historia de Venezuela, así, poco más de un 20% de la población se fue a otros países en un lapso estimado de 5 o 4 años, somos un país de relativamente poca población, así que el que se fueran cerca de 7 millones de personas, fue algo muy grave.
Ahora, esta masa migrante venezolana, la que llamamos también la Diáspora Venezolana, vive en varios países de distintos continentes, en muchas ocasiones se mantienen en contacto con las familias acá y les envían la ayuda que pueden. Con el desastre del Covid en los últimos tres años, todo se complicó y todos la pasamos mal, pero, aun así, las remesas familiares continuaron siendo una ‘cuerda salvavidas’ para muchas familias en Venezuela. En fin, que la fecha me tocó recuerdos personales y de gente que he visto de manera cercana, que hoy en día está sobreviviendo gracias a las remesas de sus parientes.
La electricidad volvió a parpadear, mejor público de una vez, así que me despido deseándote que tú estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad
