It is Wednesday, I am still recovering from the strong blow to the right shoulder due to the fall, due to the fainting of yesterday morning. It is my dominant arm, and having reduced mobility and pain is very unpleasant.
Thanks to a Twitter account that indicates the trends that I follow, I realize that it is the #WorldTeacherDay, which is we take as the official website of the #Unesco says, it is the International Day of the teachers, adding the differentiation Of them, and they clarify things in Spanish, by the way, you can see the page at: https://www.unesco.org/es/days/teachers
That previous page is that of Spanish, in the English version there is no difference between them and them and all are grouped as teachers, you can see that at: https://www.unesco.org/en/days/teachers
That kind of detail makes me reflect on the peculiarities of my maternal language, in short, we must desire a happy day to teaching professionals, people who are responsible for imparting institutionalized education and working for the model-pais that It is promoted in the educational policies of each nation.
This date was established in 1994, to explain the selection of the day it is better to cite the official source, which you can collaborate in the links that I shared in the paragraphs above:
held annually on October 5 since 1994, World Day of teachers commemorates the anniversary of the subscription of the ILO and UNESCO recommendation related to the situation of the teaching staff (1966). This recommendation establishes reference criteria regarding the rights and responsibilities of teaching staff and standards for their initial training and improvement, hiring, employment, and teaching and learning conditions.
Well, I better leave it now to this point to be able to update the publication while I have an internet and electricity signal. I wish you are well and that we can read again on another occasion
