Friends in college always have a special place in the heart, now after years of time passed we were reunited at the reunion yesterday and now communication is well established. It was great to be reunited with them and I was invited to their house yesterday. Actually, I didn't have a special occasion to visit, I just wanted to stop by to give some of her things yesterday. But he contacted me wanting to invite me to have lunch at his house, not only me, our close friends also joined that day, his house was right in Lhokseumawe city.
At 11am I was already in front of his house, I entered the place a big house with a large enough yard unfortunately I forgot to take pictures at that time. I was immediately invited to sit in the family room yeah the place is very comfortable. Full Ac room with minimalist design wrapped in exotic white house paint. The brown sofa is enough to make this room not monotonous, then there are some flower ornaments that make this room look fresher.

My friend asked permission to change her clothes for a while, I also asked permission to look around her house, her house is quite spacious and there are 3 floors. But he only often uses the downstairs while the other 2 floors are very rarely used he said he only uses it when there are guests staying. In the corner of the family room there is a mirror I took the time to take a picture in the mirror.
Well you know this spacious house she only lives with 1 husband and also 2 children. I am very happy that her son is very cute he welcomed me warmly we played together and took a picture together.
His son looked happy because he had friends today, it seemed that he was very lonely at home because he was only alone with his mother. When I came we even colored some pictures together it was a very cute moment.
After playing for a while, I was invited by my friend to her beautiful kitchen. Ahh I prayed in my heart that one day I could have a kitchen as beautiful as this. He prepared several menu dishes for me, he did not cook he ordered all his favorite dishes that afternoon. 2 glasses of fruit ice, 1 plate of dumplings complete with peanut sauce and steamed chocolate pandan sponge cake.
This dish was so tempting he invited me to taste the food but I said later when my friend came another one, yeah I was too comfortable playing with his son even we got along so quickly hehe. Another one of his children went to school and at that time had not yet returned home he said he would be home soon too.
Well after waiting long enough my friend did not come, I rushed to enjoy the food my friend had been urging me all along.
Tofu Siomay
First I tasted the tofu dumplings with crispy fried dumplings plus a very delicious peanut sauce. The tofu dumplings were very soft, the fried tofu was then filled with dumpling dough and then steamed, giving it a distinctive flavor and aroma.
The most important thing is not only the dumplings there is a mixture of vegetables in the form of carrots, broccoli and potatoes and half a boiled egg. It makes it very tasty, I tried dipping the peanut sauce with tofu uhhh it's the right combination. And what I love most is that the peanut sauce tastes just right, spicy savory and a little sweet.

Ice Fruit Drink And Pandan Sponge
It was interesting that after eating my fill of dumplings, I tried the chocolate pandan sponge. Ahh again lago tastes very good, haha he deliberately ordered a lot of delicious food at home today he said because there are friends eating.
The chocolate pandan sponge cake has a very soft texture, not sret at all when eaten. I'm glad it's not too sweet, as well as the fruit ice 1 cup of fruit ice he poured into his luxurious glass at home. The combination of lychee with papaya mangkal and also bengkuang gives a different freshness and again the taste is not too sweet so it is quite well received by my tongue.
Not only that, my friend also ordered other dishes such as siomay soup, and also donuts. I didn't have time to take a picture of it at that time because we immediately finished it. In fact, he also gave me a parcel of pandan sponge cake which was viral in his city at that time again I did not take a picture of it. Even you know when we met and were busy chatting we forgot to take a picture together. Haha that's the story alone has spent a lot of time and it's not enough just a few hours we met. After waiting for a long time my other friend came, we welcomed him warmly. After chatting for a long time we started to get hungry and you know we were served lunch by my friend. He prepared a special grilled rice,
Tuna Grilled Rice
Tuna grilled rice is no stranger, I've made it some time ago. But I made it with a different version. Now when I opened the rice packet there was abundant tuna in it. And interestingly they use nasi lemak to make this grilled rice. The rice is quite savory in addition to the abundant stir-fried shredded tuna.
We added chili sauce on top uhh it was even better with cucumber slices all complete. So happy we enjoyed lunch together while chatting.
The grilled rice is very similar to the one I made only this is the nasi lemak version, what I like most about nasi bakar is the aroma of banana leaves which is quite distinctive so it gives the flavor and dish its own characteristics.
After chatting a lot of things, telling about our lives now we had to part ways again, because it was late afternoon and we had spent a lot of time while talking on this soft chair.
Now it's time to hurry back and my second friend will be tutoring today so I asked permission first to go out. My best friend was very kind in giving me a parcel of cookies to take home. Thank you for the lunch, my friend, hopefully we will meet again at a different event later.
