An afternoon of street photography in a square [Eng/Esp]

There are few occasions in which I have shared some color street photographs, normally I like to do it in black and white, but I decided to choose some photographs that I still had saved from a day I took my camera and went out to the street to take pictures in any place that caught my attention and edit them to share them with you today, so I really hope you like them as much as I do. Personally I must say that street photographs have a certain charm of spontaneity that makes them more striking and at certain times more interesting.

Son pocas las ocasiones en que he compartido algunas fotografías callejeras a color, normalmente me gusta hacerlo en blanco y negro, pero decidí elegir algunas fotografías que todavía tenía guardadas de un día que tomé mi cámara y salí a la calle a hacer fotografías en cualquier lugar que me llamara la atención y editarlas para compartirlas con ustedes el día de hoy, por lo que realmente espero que les gusten tanto como a mí. En lo personal debo decir que las fotografías callejeras tienen cierto encanto de espontaneidad que las vuelve más llamativas y en ciertos momentos más interesantes.

The place where I decided to take these pictures was in a square, here people were walking from one place to another, some were leaving their jobs and others were going home, so it seemed to me a pretty busy place where you could easily find some models to improvise some pictures. It is interesting to stay in the same place for a couple of minutes and notice the amount of people that can cross in the same place, having a small connection for a few seconds with other people in the same place, which makes everything more reflective if you want to see it that way.

El lugar donde decidí hacer estas fotografías fue en una plaza, aquí las personas iban caminando de un lugar a otro, algunos salían de sus trabajos y otros se dirigían a sus hogares, por lo que me pareció un sitio bastante concurrido donde podrías encontrar algunos modelos fácilmente para improvisar algunas fotografías. Es interesante quedarte en un mismo lugar por un par de minutos y notar la cantidad de personas que pueden cruzarse en un mismo sitio, teniendo así una pequeña conexión por algunos segundos con otras personas en ese mismo lugar, lo que lo vuelve todo más reflexivo si así se quiere ver.

I chose these photographs because they have some interesting protagonists. As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, they are people like any other who have a designated routine and are probably on their way home after a long day of work. Being in squares allows you to see different things, from small children playing, adults talking or just a group of friends spending time there, so squares are always good places if you really want to capture spontaneous moments, this time it served to capture these various protagonists and a large tree that was in the center of the square.

Elegí estas fotografías porque tienen unos protagonistas interesantes. Como bien mencionaba en el anterior párrafo, son personas como cualquier otra que tienen una rutina designada y que seguramente van en dirección a su hogar luego de una larga jornada de trabajo. Estar en plazas te permite ver distintas cosas, desde pequeños niños jugando, adultos conversando o simplemente un grupo de amigos pasando el tiempo allí, por lo que siempre las plazas son sitios indicados si realmente quieres capturar momentos espontáneos, en esta oportunidad sirvió para capturar a estos diversos protagonistas y un gran árbol que se encontraba en el centro de la plaza.
