Hello Splinterfans!
This week the social media challenge is to share your battle and I thought I would share one of my recent showdowns against not only Quora Towershead, but also the powerful Katrelba Gobson!
You might wonder, how did you pull this off Steve? Well, you might be surprised to learn it was with the help of a Hill Giant and his stun-ning club!
I have been a fan of Hill Giant since the beginning and loved it when I could upgrade him and unleash is stun ability which often catches my opponents by surprise!
Once stunned, your opponent is helpless against your continued onslaught.
In today's battle, it is Glad vs. Glad card and outnumbered, I still manage to come out on top!

ROUND 1 - Quora Towershead vs - Hill Giant
Round 1 starts off ok for me with Katrelba getting her first buff against Fungus Fiend. Quora survived not getting stunned which was disappointing.
Will I really be able to pull this off against 2 glad cards?
ROUND 2
Round 2 starts off badly with Hill Giant taking quite abit of damage, but luckily he still holds on.
The round ends with Hill Giant having the final word and stunning Quora Towershead, putting her out of action! Game On!
ROUND 3
Round 3 starts off quick with my opponent's Katrelba getting a dose of thorns and slowing her down. My Katrelba takes the first swipe at her opposite and sadly MISSES on the second attack which would of been decisive and finished off the opposing Katrelba! Oh man!
Hill Giant strikes again, stunning Quora and now afflicted, she can't heal and my magic attack finishes her off! 1 Glad down, 1 to go!
ROUND 4 & 5
Round 4 sees Katrelba get more thorns but still survives thanks to being more buffed and faster than my Katrelba who MISSES again on delivering the final punch.
Round 5 sees my Goblin Pyschic sadly fall thanks to the opposing Katrelba. However, it is her last move in the game as my Katrelba finally delivers the lethal strike to remove her from the game... it looks like it is in the bag and it is all over in Round 6 as the formalities show.
Summary:
I didn't imagine to take down Quora and Katrelba in one swoop, but adding a monster with stun and thorns can be helpful to take down these Glad behmoths.
At only a 3 mana cost, the stun ability has lamed Quora nicely and laying some thorn traps for Katrelba weakens her also pretty well.
