Hello to all Saturday Savers. We are now at the end of week 17 and tomorrow is May already and Hive power up day. I didn't manage to get my post out yesterday, so am posting today on Sunday. You can check what week it is here.
It has been another steady week with good progress and it is hard to believe we are 1/3 of the way through the year already. I made a bank transfer on Thursday evening to someone and it is Sunday and it is still not cleared. As tomorrow is a bank holiday, the transaction probably won't clear until Tuesday morning.
That would then be 5 days waiting to receive some money. Before crypto we might have thought these things were normal, but now it is looking very archaic. I wonder if the writing is on the wall for fiat banking?!
It is now week 5 in the 365 Day HBD challenge is completed this week:
I managed to save less HBD at 1,84 HBD compared to 5,56 HBD last week. I am keeping some liquid Hive ready in case I need to get some HBD to reach my target.
However, as this week I am still over my overall target of 6,3 HBD, I didn't buy any extra HBD. My target for this week is 2,73 HBD and this may be tough to reach too. I am still ahead of my overall target with a little margin so that is a good start.
On to this week's numbers:
My main target is to grow my Hive Power.

My Hive increased by 250 this week, which is again less than last week but still a good amount of growth. Tomorrow is Hive Power up day, so I will see if I can also power up tomorrow to give my HP a boost.
My second goal is to increase my ALIVE power to 25k. This is my current progress:

This week I staked 305 ALIVE tokens. This was a nice increase and I am getting close to passing the 15k ALIVE tokens mark. I know that you can delegate your ALIVE tokens and earn a quite good income, but I prefer at the moment to have them staked and use them for voting.
My next goal is to increase my staked SPS.

My SPS increased by 551 this week which is much lower than last week. I am not sure why the drop, hopefully it will pick back up again this week.
My final goal is to increase my staked GLX.

My GLX tokens increased by 381 this week which is a nice bump compared to last week. I think claiming my GLX from staked packs was behind the boost. I am keen to see how the increase looks next week if I can keep it up.
I still didn't open any packs yet, but am getting very tempted.
