This is my post for #freewriters 2588 prompt end of the hostility hosted by @mariannewest

A few days ago I did some Christmas shopping with both sisters and today the middle sister took me to my dermatologist appointment and later we finished our shopping. Now for the wrapping, I am going to need every day left to finish it.

All I have seen on a different social site is how nasty people are when shopping this year. In my two days, I have only seen kindness, people saying excuse or pardon me. I saw tall people helping short ones reach things from the top shelf. The workers were even nice. Only kindness everywhere.

Today the line was long and I had made it to third in line when I saw the man behind me holding several things under his arms, as slow as the line was moving I told him to go ahead of my sister, she was ahead of me. At first, he said no but we insisted, and then the man next in line told him to go next, it was so nice to see and the man thanked all of us. This makes me think we might have an end of the hostility between shoppers.

My dermatologist closed his business in my town so I had to see a new one today. She took one biopsy from my right ear, about a month ago I peeled the spot off but it has already grown back. She also prescribed me a face eating cream, that is what I call it, she said I had too many places for her to freeze them all and wanted me to use this cream on my face, it literally eats your skin away.

My husband used the face eating cream years ago, he used it on his arms and they looked raw by the time he finished with it. I bet it does this to my face, and she wants me to stay out of the sun, that is not happening, I will wear a hat but I am not staying in the house.

face eating cream

Interesting name you have given to the cream!!

It feels better when we can help others. Keep feeling better.

Fluorouracil cream USP, 5%, is the name of the cream.

I picked it up today and did not know what to call it yesterday so face eating cream sounded fitting. lol

I was glad I spoke with the pharmacists because I did not understand the doctor's directions on how to use it. She told me to put some on my hand and rub them together enough to get a thin layer all over my face, the pharmacists said to put some on a Q-tip and only put a thin layer on the bad spots. He said it would take the skin away like peeling an onion and my face would be red.
