There was a little bell

...

if you were light
expanding through the space

spreading from the heart of a system which collects just a handful of planets and moons

What would you do with the obstacles that stand in your way?

a thin wire can damage me

you think.

Then you embrace it and together you make shapes
lines and contours

crossing the snowy wall of a sanctuary with a bell and a cross on its top.

We hear complete silence and feel that time has never existed. Through our human limitations, we wonder if it is a similar feeling we will experience when our gaze meets the divine. No single sound in the hermitage until we remember

there is a bell that could be touched by the invisible...

Maybe we were scared or pleased by the thought that a shy sound would complete the mute play of the light and wires, but now we are overwhelmed by the next image.

There is a multitude of people and wires!!!

it is noon

they just watch

and listen to the music emerging from the darkness of the hermitage

I am surrounded by people who close their eyes, enjoy the music, imagine, think about tomorrow, troubles or tasks, recall a memory, feel the light and warmth of the day, think about calling their daughter/son/grandchildren, feel thirsty or let themselves be carried away by the melodies that the string quartet performs.

I know nothing about verses.

just maybe a little about sounds, strings and Schubert

and about the wind which can touch that bell

How wonderful, I feel it is a poem about the silence and the music in it and at the same time the silence in the music and how people enjoy it. I love the chapel and its bell.😍

It is a simple chapel but well-maintained, it looks very nice, right? 😇

Simple has its charm, it doesn't have to be a cathedral...😉

Ermita is a weird word for me - I always imagine a hermit. Then I need to adjust that it is Spanish, not English ;)

I got used to ermita as there are many of them here around 😅
Every year, during the Semana Santa there are concerts of classical music in each of them 🎶

It is like a poem where light, silence, faith and people mix and there are no obstacles to feel good and reach peace. I am not a poet but the view of the Hermitage suggests poetry.

Hmm, yes, a mix where I also felt peace 😉🎶

Close our eyes. Let the silence, darkness, created magical sound and let the light travel away to the place we call the soul.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful words @mipiano I enjoy those things

I am glad you enjoyed this and thank you for your summary 🎶

you become a poet!!.. beautiful words!!...and yes! music is magic!

Hahaha, not really a poet 😅 I just mix sometimes the ways of letting out my thoughts, emotions and experiences 😉

{p.s. I ordered 48 acrylic markers for the rocks hahaha 😳}

You are a lucky girl!! Picasso never heard about acrilyc markers! jajaja

Hahaha, I guess he didn't, as probably these didn't exist at his time 😁

that's right! is a new material!

The bells are the voice of God
They ring calling us to his heavenly bosom.
They bring peace, dry the tears and reach the heart.
They help us to atone for our faults, they give forgiveness.
The bells are the voice of God so that we do not forget his existence.
Let there be no lack of bells in our lives. May the love of God not be lacking.

What a lovely crescendo in the intensity of the message and visual display of your poetic comment/poem, @yanerkidiaz. Thank you ✨

This is my first poem in English and I hope it touches the heart because bells are very spiritual and romantic.

Although you say it is your first poem in English, your words already ring like the bells of a chapel 😎

A beautiful reflective dialogue both inside and outside of time, in which the solemnity of silence and the minimal touch of the elements of nature, unravel magic until the longed-for infinite embrace occurs.

This concert was divine.

😉 Qué lindo escribes.

Thank you, escritora ;)

The concert was nice, like the whole idea that the musicians are inside the chapel and the audience outside. Much nicer than the regular, indoor concerts, and there were a lot of people who came to listen to it 🎶

Music plays an important role in our lives and you are doing very good and beautiful poetry.

@tipu curate :)

It’s maybe a poem or something I don’t know, lol
Nice pictures though

Still trying to lay hands on what really inspired this amazing poetic write up. I guess you guys are on a pilgrimage or a devotion. What ever it may be, the fact that the people allowed music take over is really amazing.

It was inspired by a concert I attended and the sun, shadows, wind and that little chapel 🎶
