Mis compañeros locales kindly have given me the afternoon off from attending our stand at Gartner IT Expo. I dropped my backpack in the hotel and went on to explore the city.
My goal was to get Sagrada Familia, the famous project by Gaudi, still unfinished. I started from the medieval cathedral of Barcelona and via Plaça Cataluña walked toward my destination. Once out of the tangle of the historical Old Town, Barcelona is easy to navigate - it’s built mostly on a grid, with occasional diagonals.
On my way back I did a detour via Arc de Triomf, Parc de Ciudadela and the (in)famous La Rambla.
Nice “working day”! A mí lo me gusta!
