Thunderstorms and outpouring rains had been forecast for today morning. The forecast didn’t deter my resolve to go hiking with Pedro. But most of my two-legged friends, except two, chose not to go. I knew the rains would come while I would be still on the train. Exactly this happened. The skies got dark - at 8:30am! - and the rain was torrential, at times with hails. When we got off just before 10am, it was still raining - but only a bit and it soon stopped. The trails were of course muddy, but who cares. Certainly not Pedro.
In the afternoon we enjoyed nice and sunny day. The rain had had a cooling effect. A great day outdoors.
