In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Also, I will include the statistics I collect daily from Rising Star to keep you informed.
After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: Me voy of Julieta Venegas
Bajan: Pescado Rabioso
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Bajan of Pescado Rabioso. If I am totally honest, I didn't know the band “Pescado Rabioso”. I knew some of their songs, but when I listened to them they were presented by their main artists as “solo” songs. However, when I started listening to the band's songs, I realized that I knew most of them and ended up liking them so much that I added them to my “Likes”. My favorite of the group, ended up being the song “Bajan”.
Pescado Rabioso was formed by four main members: Luis Alberto Spinetta, David Lebón, Black Amaya and Carlos Cutaia. The first two I mentioned, Spinetta and Lebón, are the ones who ended up having a very successful solo career. Spinetta's best known songs are: Seguir vivir sin tu amor, Rezo por vos and Té para tres. In the case of David Lebon, he has some successful collaborations with artists such as Julieta Venegas, Zoe Goutusso and Charly Garcia. The song Bajan by Pescado Rabioso is part of the album “Artaud” which was released in 1973.
Before giving the winner of this night's drawing. The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
