Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was again all about the fall colors. First in the yard.
As usual, Le Chat didn't seem impressed at all, and of course not willing to move much from the dog bed.
We on the other hand wanted to be more active than the last couple of days. So we started our daily walk a bit earlier. First stop behind the front yard of course, where the yellows and oranges are slowly getting brighter.
But it's along the neighborhood streets that it's the best right now. It's so great to walk surrounded by these vibrant colors everywhere.
On the final pathway before the forest entrance, it's like walking on a thick bed of leaves. I love the noise of the leaves under foot, not as good as the crunching snow, but that's probably the second best.
And look at that entrance, so beautiful!
Kaia didn't waste time admiring the foliage and just ran in.
She did have a short break when we got to that clearing. It's because she knows lots of deer hang out in this area, and she was looking for them.
It was getting a bit dark but we went off-trail for a while, just to see some of the foliage colors closer.
Since it was a bit earlier than usual, we took the long route to catch a couple more Cubiverse vaults, and once again the sunset hues in the sky.
When we finally cut back through the forest again, nightfall was upon us. But it's so vibrant right now, the colors are still visible at night.
I know that's a lot of foliage again, but I just can't help it, these colors are just too great! It was also more steps than the past couple of days, so more time to admire the beauty of this season.
