Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was sunnier and colder than the day before. Cold and sunny, my kind of day! So no surprise, after getting up a bit late (after getting woken up early by a phone call from the roofers saying the would not be able to make it until Saturday, I went back to bed of course), the plan was to enjoy the outdoors. I decided to stay in the neighborhood, so Kaia and I just went to our forest again.
Like I was saying yesterday, she seems so happy now that she's able to run off-leash on or off the trails.
After a little bit, I could hear some banging noises, it was pretty loud. It took me a while but I figured out the source: a woodpecker. This guy was having fun!
And so did we, just walking everywhere in the forest.
It wasn't very late yet, but our shadows were already stretching.
Not a single cloud in sight though, so blue!
I let Kaia decide where to go next.
She brought us back to the teepees.
Of course, we also had our usual deer encounter.
This one seemed so focused on Kaia. Almost as though it wanted to get closer.
I'm sure Kaia would have liked that!
When we got back home, it looked we had some time left before the sunset.
Definitely enough for a few espressos on the deck. Kaia didn't even rest, you can see her in the background making the yard rounds.
I couldn't resist, after just a few minutes, we started another walk, to catch the sunset this time. But as we got out of the yard, we found this great Moon view on the East side. Too great to pass, I had to spend the time snapping a few shots, even if that made us a bit late for the sunset.
We walked faster and didn't miss too much of the sunset.
As often, we followed the golf course fence, going North, as the sun went behind the trees.
And it was gone. But like I said many times, I still enjoy this view very much. Very soothing.
And same at the North end of the golf course.
We finally headed back home. And as the sky was getting darker, the Moon was getting brighter. Beautiful...
To finish the day, I started again some research for black Friday deals, but I wasn't efficient at all. Luckily we have the entire week end and Monday for most of the deals. Still plenty of time.
Another day passing the bar in #poprzeczka, still a clean sheet! My best month in a while so far. As for Kaia, even with about 8 miles walked yesterday, she again didn't show any limping or lameness, so good to see!
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
