Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday, just like the smiley face on the cover picture, was a good day! The weather was sunny again, so I was planning to repeat a long walk in a park like last week end. But I changed my mind and decided to split our walk with Kaia into two parts. First we went to our usual forest, so Kaia could run around off-leash for a bit.
Obviously, she also had to pose for a while. I'm sure it wasn't her intention but she actually gave me a few good looks.
Then we walked back home where I relaxed a bit. It was also a good time for espressos on the deck while Kaia was murdering yet another tennis ball. Luckily I have a friend who plays a lot of tennis and she supplies us with plenty of used tennis balls.
Now for something a little different, I wanted to visit one of the small parks in the area. Not a big metropark like last week end, just a small nature preserve. Before we even entered it, we already had great views of the upcoming sunset.
When we got in the park forest itself, it was way muddier than I expected, much more than our usual forest.
But Kaia and I were determined to walk all the small trails, while the sun was setting.
They have teepees there as well.
But the best part is near the pond in the middle.
The view from there is pretty good, with some reflections on the still partially frozen water.
The park is quite small, even compared to our small forest. But we went everywhere, including some off-trail areas not so easy to reach, and we looped around a few times.
The sun was almost completely disappeared when we went out of the park.
But we made one last stop at the entrance in the rocks garden, a couple of small hills with big rocks arranged.
One last pose for Kaia.
On the drive back, we made one last stop to pick up a few vaults for Coin hunt world. In my area, they are very few and apart, so if I find some, I try and get them.
And that was the end of a quite active day, spent almost entirely outdoor, my kind of day!
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
