I hope and pray that a miracle happens to turn around the politics in your country. It is awful that one has to worry about health services falling apart, especially as you get older.
We have a similar situation in South Africa with public health in dire straits. Many young people are emigrating, leaving the country they love hoping for a better future for themselves and their children.
Like you, I do not want to leave the place I call home, I have private health care, but crime is on the rise and this is a big concern!
Snow is beautiful, yes, but a warmer climate is also my preference!
