Eysarcoris guttigerus is a type of insect in the pentatomidae family, and they belong to the sting bug or stink beetle group, this species has distinctive characteristics that differentiate it from other family members such as a rather flat body with varying body colors, their famous body color starts from from brown, black and green leaves, as far as my observations and understanding in the world of insects all these colors depend on the conditions where they are, for example in burnt forest, Eysarcoris guttigerus has a dominant body color of brown, while in grasslands Eysarcoris guttigerus has a dominant body color of leaf green, while the word "guttigerus" comes from Latin which means small spots on the insect's body.

from several research journals that I have read, shows that this insect is distributed in various regions, especially in Asia and several regions in Australia, although Eysarcoris guttigerus is not one of the species that is often highlighted in entomological studies, the presence of Eysarcoris guttigerus is very important in the ecosystem as part of the food chain, both as predators and as prey for other hunting animals, such as birds, large insects, spiders and so on. Eysarcoris guttigerus is known as a herbivore, which means that to survive they devour all types of plants, because of this the presence of Eysarcoris guttigerus is often considered a pest because it can damage cultivated plants.

This insect has a very distinctive mouth, in the form of a proboscis which is used to inject enzymes into the various plants they land on. Slowly this insect sucks fluids from the plant and this is what makes the plant turn yellow, wilt and lead to death, well for this reason every farmer is always asked to anticipate and prevent their population, if you are a farmer then it is very mandatory for you to know these insects and how to control their population so that the plants you cultivate can grow and reap maximum results, don't be fooled by their small body size, These insects can kill plants you slowly, hopefully you have the wisdom to protect your garden from various types of insects.
