Coprinellus domesticus mushroom which is also known as "house ink mushroom" is a species of small mushroom which has its own charm, and this mushroom is included in the psathyrellaceae family, this beautiful small mushroom is usually found growing on wood, grass and straw that has been rotting, but you can also find them growing in other places such as in wet organic material, the presence of this fungus is often a sign that a natural decomposition process is taking place, this fungus plays a very important role in the rotting process as a decomposer.

Physically, the Coprinellus domesticus mushroom has a very distinctive fruit body, a small to medium sized mushroom cap with a beautiful color, usually this mushroom is more often found in bright red and yellow, but the color will change to pale brown when the mushroom has matured. One of the other unique features lies in the mushroom cap which swells and releases the inside of the mushroom cap with a pure white color.
