Wednesday Walk 12.18.24, My Wednesday!

Well my friends for this week's #wednesdaywalk I am going to take you around my neighborhood. Another front came in and cut my afternoon short, but I did get out this morning!
So first, a few scenes from the morning trip over to the old house to feed the Kitties!
While there I saw the Winter Berries are turning to raisins,

But the Shrimp Plant is blooming like it's spring,

And the Gophers are on the move!

Leaving there, I stopped at "Wally-World" (Walmart) and got this photo of our "old and new" water towers,

After that, I got home and took off on the Black bike. Over at the Park I got this photo of the J.F.K. Causeway,

And the Shoreline,

And then, something I predicted in yesterday's post is happening already. Remember this "Poacher" over at the Breeding Pond yesterday?

Well, the City is taking action!

(*really a good thing!)

Well, not wanting to hang around, I left and caught this white Egret at the Bluff Bay Marina sign, he was so cute!

A little closer,

He sees me and is running off -
And under the Storm drain,

And now "peeking" to see if I am still there! These birds are so sneaky!

Directly across the street is the Water Treatment facility. Here is a mural that is painted in one of the buildings, unfortunately a bit faded,

And then this plane flew overhead,

Up, up, and away!

And finally, getting back to my house, I was noticing what they have done with the Blue Dome house - I live this place! They have planted Palms around and it is awesome!

And a little closer at the house itself,

And then a few hundred feet I was home! I had planned to head back out, but the weather had other plans...
