Today really feels like a Sunday. We woke up fairly early, last night Kaleb was crying so go into the bed and at some point through the night he flipped himself right around and was in a good position to kick us, which he proceeded to do. We were both wide awake as the onslaught took place, but he remained sound asleep.
Breakfast
Fried egg and rasher sandwich's, it was nice, and we just hung out watching some TV as Kaleb went around playing with all of his toys from yesterday.
I was also messing with one of the things my mum got me, the mount arm thing, it's really cool, it has an attachment for phones, and a head for normal cameras. In fact, I'm considering buying another one so I could potentially have my phone set up capturing a POV of what I'm making, while the DJI is up in the corner looking down getting an overhead wide. With two good shots like that I could zoom in and out throughout the video to disguise the fact that there are only two shots.
Not having to move the camera around would be great for productivity too and it would allow me to just focus on what I'm making.
Time isn't exactly on my side, but if I could even dedicate an hour or two a week I'd be in a really good position to produce some decent videos and get back into model making in a big way.
The plans for the day is to have another dinner with Aimee's brother, his partner and their kids, since we never got a chance to see them over the last few days, and the kids also will have some presents to open, so we're basically dragging out Christmas a lot this year, and I'm happy enough with that, because I've always felt as though the holiday ends too suddenly.
Aimee is off work until Saturday too, so we're going to make the most of the few days together by doing a few bits and pieces and more than anything we're just going to chill out and enjoy our gifts we received.
