let's have another #BeerSaturday ;)
Last weekend we were out and about in the Sauerland. Sauerland is a region in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany, which is very scenic.
We visited the Bilstein caves near Warstein. So it was natural to visit the cradle of the world-famous Warsteiner: The Warsteiner World.
Since we were there on a Sunday, we unfortunately found that the Warsteiner World was closed.
Of course, that didn't stop us from exploring the grounds a bit and taking a few pictures for you ;)
And I actually still had a Warsteiner in the cooler in the trunk ;)
You have to know...if you travel a lot as a family, you have to save where you can. So we always have our electricity-powered cooler with us on our short trips, which also supplies us with cool drinks and snacks in the hotel ;) Who always wants to spend 5,- € for a beer or 7,- € for a glass of wine?
We prefer to invest the money in beautiful family experiences.
The Warsteiner can I could so also still adequately put in scene.
To the tasting I'll come later ;)

lasst uns einen neuen BeerSaturday feiern ;)
Letztes Wochenende waren wir im Sauerland unterwegs.
Wir haben die Bilsteinhöhlen nahe Warstein besucht. Da lag es natürlich nahe, auch einmal die Wiege des weltbekannten Warsteiners zu besuchen: Die Warsteiner Welt.
Da wir an einem Sonntag dort unterwegs waren, mussten wir leider feststellen, dass die Warsteiner Welt leider geschlossen war.
Das hat uns natürlich nicht davon abgehalten das Gelände ein wenig zu erkunden und ein paar Bilder für Euch zu machen ;)
Und ich hatte tatsächlich noch ein Warsteiner in der Kühlbox im Kofferraum ;)
Ihr müsst wissen...wenn man als Familie viel unterwegs ist, muss man sparen wo man kann. So haben wir bei unseren Kurzreisen stets unsere strombetriebene Kühlbox dabei, die uns auch im Hotel mit kühlen Drinks und Snacks versorgt ;) Wer will schon immer 5,- € für ein Bier oder 7,- € für ein Glas Wein ausgeben?
Das Geld investieren wir lieber in schöne Familien Erlebnisse.
Die Warsteiner Dose konnte ich so also noch adäquat in Szene setzen.
Zur Verköstigung komme ich dann später noch ;)
The brewery kettle / Der Braukessel:
Every beer lover knows the sight of a brewing kettle.
Here, the brew kettle is a common thread throughout the Warsteiner world, where it has been used as an unmistakable stylistic element. But see for yourself:
Jeder Bierliebhaber kennt den Anblick eines Braukessels.
Der Braukessel zieht sich hier wie ein roter Faden durch die Warsteiner Welt, in dem er immer wieder als unverkennbares Stilelement an vielen Orten Verwendung gefunden hat. Aber seht selbst:
With this vehicle the eyes of all classic car fans will shine!
Bei diesem Fahrzeug leuchten doch die Augen aller Oldtimer Fans!
Simply to worship? / Einfach zum Anbeten?
The sight of this building brings up slight associations with a modern church building, doesn't it?
Bei dem Anblick dieses Gebäudes kommen doch leichte Assoziationen zu einem modernen Kirchengebäude auf, oder?
The Beergarden / Der Biergarten:
The beer garden was, as I said, unfortunately closed that day. we could still look at it.
Der Biergarten war ja wie gesagt an diesem Tag leider geschlossen. anschauen konnten wir ihn trotzdem.
In this brewing kettles you can apparently make yourself really comfortable ;)
In diesen Braukesseln kann man es sich anscheinend richtig gemütlich machen ;)
If you book a brewery tour, a subsequent party in the beer garden is included...
Wenn man eine Brauereitour bucht, ist eine anschließende Sause im Biergarten angeblich inkludiert...
... and whoever can't make it home after the party, can rent a room right here...really practical, isn't it?
I can well imagine that one or the other good party has already taken place on this site ;)
... und wer es nach der Sause nicht mehr nach Hause schafft, kann sich direkt hier einmieten...echt praktisch, oder?
Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass sich auf diesem Gelände schon die ein odere andere gute Party abgespielt hat ;)
And since I don't want to tell you whether I still opened the Warsteiner can in the car, the official tasting had to be made up for.
For this, of course, we chose the Warsteiner Waldgastronomie in the Bilsteintal in relation to the theme.
Und da ich Euch nicht verraten möchte, ob ich die Warsteiner Dose noch im Auto geöffnet habe, musste die offizielle Verköstigung noch nachgeholt werden.
Hierfür haben wir natürlich themenbezogen die Warsteiner Waldgastronomie im Bilsteintal ausgewählt.
Of course, such a delicious Warsteiner in the "Warsteiner Forest Restaurant" also includes a hearty meal. We had venison sausages with red cabbage and fried potatoes. It was really delicious!
Zu so einem leckeren Warsteiner in der Waldgaststätte gehört natürlich auch ein zünftiges Essen. Es gab Wildbratwürste mit Rotkohl und Bratkartoffeln. Es war wirklich sehr lecker!
My Conclusion / Mein Fazit:
What can I say?
I like the golden cans and Warsteiner actually goes immrer. It's a tasty solid beer that you can't go wrong with.
Was soll ich sagen?
Mir gefallen die goldenen Dosen und Warsteiner geht eigentlich immrer. Es ist ein schmackhaftes solides Bier, mit dem man nichts falsch machen kann.
