Hi friends! It is my first time posting a blog here in this community. As the community suggests I will now take you on a little stroll. Hope you like it😊. On December 06, 2023, we had no class but a selected number of people were ordered to go to school by the teachers for a little bit of tree planting. Well, I wasn't included but I had to pass a due project to my teacher so I did. Fast forward and it's already afternoon my teacher @callmesmile just out of nowhere decided she wanted to go for a little stroll and so we did. Even though the weather was not looking good at that time a couple of teachers and my classmates traveled from our school to an abandoned house in Sagay, Borbon, Cebu where we set foot on a wonderful piece of abandoned land.
The trip was around 5.8 kilometers or 3.604 miles and we finally arrived in our destination. The very second we entered the entrance to the abandoned house we can already see the house itself. Here we see the abandoned house from afar. As you can see the scenery here is mesmerizing it really gives off a natural habitat of nature kind of vibe. Now at first I thought that it was only an abandoned house. I didn't expect that it was one of those "beauty of nature" kind of stuff. Of course from the word "Abandoned" House I already expected it to be an old antique house of some sort. But I didn't expect it to be a work of nature. It really shows how powerful nature is. Once something that us human beings claimed and laid home in if neglected for a decade or two mother nature reclaims it and in such a beautiful way at that.
And here we see it upfront where you can see how beautiful nature is, incorporated with an abandoned house for who knows how many years now. Adds to the overall aesthetic of the environment making it even more outstanding. Also before we came here we saw some kind of a tiny pool (besides that pool that I've shown below though I wasn't able to capture a photo because there were people swimming there and it'd be weird to take a photo so I did not). Some are also washing there clothes there so I think that it is some sort of multitasking pool😂.
The abandoned house also has some sort of pool? I don't really know and there were no locals nearby to ask for (the people swimming that I mentioned earlier are also not from here and do not know the answer) so I just assumed it is one. It could also be a former fishing pond as we also saw some big and small fishes swimming around. The source of this pool's water seems to be from a stream and I don't know where it comes from but it seems to be clean and there was some kind of machine there connected in the whole where the stream is gushing out so I'm guessing that its to clean the water. Also some people are even using this stream of water to do laundry (based on the clothes hanging near there).

For me this trip to this wonderful spot was a big help for me, mentally. I've been tired lately because of schoolwork such as assignments, and projects that I needed to pass. I even got selected for an event which I now need to practice for the competition. It was an escape from those troubles. I even got to bond with my classmates. So it lifted some burdens that have been holding me down lately. But anyways after sometime going there and here for about an hour we decided to go back as the weather was getting even worse than before.
That's all thank you all for those who made it this far and for making it this far🙏. I'm sorry that this is just a short blog but I promise I'll do my best next time. I've just been busy with school lately and it's already been more than a week since I last uploaded. I had to fill out my quota no matter what and this was the result so I hope y'all understand my current situation😖. Once again THANK YOU!
