So this is the first unofficial or *maybe official *week of.... #MyLeoGoals

And I have to be honest with you guys, this is a lot less stressful than previous years of goal tracking. Cutting my weekly targets down to just how my $LEO stake is doing, allows me to really focus.

Last year, I called it trimming the fat. Now I feel like I'm on a keto diet lol

Just doing some estimates, I'll be hitting my goal of 150k LEO in about 24 weeks....Give or take.

Now that's assuming a lot....

The big one, is that LEO prices stay around the same because right now I'm getting my 100 LEO a day for around 17 $HIVE. Which has increased recently because for months I was getting around 100 LEO for 14-15 HIVE. If the prices moon, it'll be much tougher for me to hit my dollar cost averaging into the token.

It also assumes that I continue to generate around 100 LEO per day on my Hive Power delegation to @leo.voter

The factors for these numbers are the price of LEO and if I keep the Hive Power delegated. One is in my control, the other...Not so much lol Still, I'm trying to generate as much LEO as I can using the tools that are here on Hive. Obviously, HP delegation being the big one!

But what does this all come down to? How far do we have to go as we enter the third week of the new year....

150,000 - 107,472.24 = 42,527.76 left to go

And I'm generating around 250-ish LEO per day in delegations, curation, dollar cost averaging and content creation. So quick math, like I mentioned above....That's around 24 weeks or so until I hit my goal.

Obviously, I want to speed it up because I really don't think LEO is going to stay at these low prices forever....But I'm pretty biased lol

Let's check out the curation over the past 7 days as well....

This is something I really should be paying more attention to as it took a pretty big hit over the past week. My goal here is to average around 10% APR on my curation efforts.

Overall, I'm extremely happy with my targets and think I'll be able to crush at least one of them fairly soon. As for the strategy, you guys should know me by now....

After reading, I have a few questions, if I may be as bold as to press a little upon your time to educate a noob :-)

You mention that your are delegating HP to @leo.voter , this is generating you 100Leo a day, may I ask how much HP you delegate to generate this ?, I can experiment ofc and delegate 10HP and see what comes back, but I'd like to compare this to other passive earning streams, and I'll confess to being a little lazy.

Looking at the token info on Hive Engine, it says that staking is available, what is the benefit of staking Leo ?

And lastly, my final question, ( for now :-) ), you mention curation earnings. And here I really show how little I know, but what exactly do you mean by curation rewards, what exactly do you do when you "curate" ?, I understand the word in the general meaning of organising a collection of content/art for others to enjoy, but how do you actually do that on Hive (and involving Leo).

I'm trying to piece together information on Hive from various sources, I've come a good way since I got interested in Hive, but I've a lot to learn.

I met Hive via Splinterlands in late 2021, and I'll admit , largely ignored it, however since discovering the @holozing project, my interest has blossomed and I'm beginning to realise how much there is to learn.

I'm not a digital native, neither am I a millennial ( my kids are. .lol!), so there is probably some very very basic questions I have yet to wrap my noggin around, but I'm getting there, one question and one patient Hiver at a time.
