Hace algunos días tuvimos que hacer algunos trámites cerca de la costa, y como nuestra diligencia salió como esperábamos teníamos mucho tiempo libre antes de regresar a casa; con Gabriela decidimos caminar por la arena de la playa, y fue cuando un ave se presentó volando ante nosotros. Lo cierto es que no teníamos intención alguna de hacer fotografía de aves, pero como la ocasión se presentó no lo pudimos ignorar. Resulta que en la copa de una palmera se estaba escabullendo un hermoso ¨pirincho¨: era como si el ave no quisiera que lo viéramos, pero se movía constantemente para cambiar el ángulo de visión y observar que hacíamos

A few days ago we had to run some errands near the coast, and since our errand went as expected we had a lot of free time before returning home; Gabriela and I decided to walk along the sand on the beach, and that's when a bird appeared flying before us. The truth is that we had no intention of taking bird photos, but since the opportunity presented itself we couldn't ignore it. It turns out that in the crown of a palm tree a beautiful ¨pirincho¨ was sneaking around: it was as if the bird didn't want us to see it, but it was constantly moving to change the angle of vision and observe what we were doing
Fue genial que el ave sobrevolara ante de nosotros, de no ser por ello jamás lo hubiéramos descubierto al ¨pirincho¨ en la copa del árbol. Mientras estábamos entretenido haciendo las fotografías al ¨pirincho¨ no nos dimos cuenta que un curioso ¨pitogue¨ : nos observaba detenidamente desde lo alto de un poste lumínico

It was great that the bird flew over in front of us, if it weren't for it we would never have discovered the ¨pirincho¨ in the crown of the tree. While we were busy taking pictures of the ¨pirincho¨ we didn't realize that a curious ¨pitogue¨ : was watching us closely from the top of a light pole
Como les he mencionado en varias oportunidades, los ¨benteveos¨ son aves que cuidan mucho el lugar en donde viven, y hasta el momento en que nosotros descubrimos al ¨pirincho¨ él no lo habría visto, y quizás por eso es que el ave estaba bien escabullida entre las hojas de la palmera para no ser expulsado por esta ave que tanto cuida su espacio. Me encanto la temática que ha escogido nuestra amiga @nelinoeva para este maravilloso ¨Show Me A Photo Contest¨: para aquello que tengan interés en saber, les comento que las fotografías las hacemos con una cámara ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨
