A loving greeting to all my Hive friends, especially to coffee lovers. Today I want to tell you about a new place in my city, which is undoubtedly the best option to go to enjoy a good coffee. After several years of economic crisis in Venezuela, of a massive migration and of seeing the streets of my city practically deserted, since a few months ago the economic and commercial life has started to activate again. This is reflected in many things, but one of them are the different stores, restaurants and small businesses that have been born. Of all the places that offer coffee that have been emerging, one of the ones I have enjoyed the most is this one.
The establishment has the name Casa Cacao, it is a super comfortable and cozy place. My dear @aly.squid and I arrived after an afternoon of work. It was our first time there and from the moment we walked through the door we felt very comfortable with the design of the place. The waitress who introduced herself to us as Ana brought us the menu. We found it to be quite extensive for a coffee and dessert place.
The variety of coffees is very delicious, something that is not common in the city because most of the local coffee shops offer a very limited menu. I was pleased to see that besides the well-known Espresso, Americano, latte, cappuccino, mocachino; which are the products you usually get in other coffee shops, here they also offer affogato, cortado, flat whaite, pistachio latte, and some other variants with ice cream or liquor.
On this occasion we ordered two nutella frapuccino and a coffee cake with nutella as well. The kind waitress told us that maybe it was a very sweet combination but we assured her that it was perfect for us. Well, this has to do with the way I ask for coffee every time I go to a place, I always ask for it to be strong and very sweet. Because if there is something that I like as much as coffee is sugar and to enjoy my coffee I like it to be sweet.
In this case I didn't have to ask for anything because the waitress gave me to understand that the frapuccino came with everything. Indeed it did. When she brought the drinks they were very beautiful visually, but the taste was a spectacle. All the ingredients were of high quality, you could taste the intense flavor of the coffee and the nutella. We really enjoyed it a lot. The bill came out to $17, each frapuccino was $5 and the slice of cake was $7. It didn't seem so cheap compared to other places in the city, but for the quality of their products it is certainly a fair price.
