I understand why Da Lat is currently one of the tourist destinations for Indonesians on vacation. There are two possibilities: first, expensive domestic flight tickets, second, domestic costs are indeed much more expensive. Due to many factors, one of which is the monopoly of airline companies here. Strange, but it is very real.
Many Indonesians finally choose Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam as 'profitable' places as tourist destinations. It is very ironic, even though to be honest, Indonesia's nature is very vast and extraordinarily beautiful. For example, Bali, the beaches and mountains are very beautiful, but unfortunately, it is much bigger to fly to Bali than even Vietnam.
Last year's choice for a vacation fell to Ho Chi Minh City and Da Lat, for some reason, Vietnam has very beautiful natural beauty and that cannot be denied. Da Lat, came to Da Lat because it is one of the areas that has quite cold weather, you can enjoy the dew in the morning and the cold air in the mountains. And, one of them is the famous clay tunnel.
Clay Tunnel in Da Lat city is a special place. Maybe because I have never been to a place like that and I liked it the first time I went there. A place that has high artistic value, because everything in this place is made by humans and imagined into an artistic value in the form of clay sculptures.
There are so many beautiful clays, with shapes that are very similar to the original, do the people in this city have high art? You can read my post last week, that I stopped by the crazy house and it was almost the same as this place.
This clay tunnel is quite large, every place is beautiful for taking pictures. Even like a movie set. I thought the land needed was more than 2 hectares of land. Whatever it is, this place does exceed expectations. Paying the price for an entrance ticket. Clean, neat, and detailed.
The detailed clay tunnel is made to look like the original. In the form of a dragon with a burst of fire, a statue of Ho Chi Minh, animal statues, horse-drawn carriages and many others. The place is also made like making a story in a children's fairy tale book. There are several artificial lakes and small waterfalls that make the atmosphere even more fun.
At that time it was very quiet, because it was not a holiday or weekend. So, it was like a private trip. I like things like this, so I can take pictures without difficulty. My wife likes it, she was the one who looked for a place like this in Da Lat city. One of the must-visit places in Da Lat. So, I just followed her wishes.
Oh, the most impressive and most aesthetic thing here is being able to see the lake in Da Lat from above. Because this place is on top of a hill in Da Lat city. It's a bit far from the city center, but the road to get here is very fun. Maybe because it's a mountainous area, so the whole road is full of beautiful scenery. But it is a bit steep with some roads that have not been paved, but it's not that scary.
