We were invited to go when the weather was nice, but we were in the middle of the applesauce project - so we had some extra time today and we visited Yates Cider Mill.
The building still has a functioning waterwheel, at least it's still turning from the water.
Inside there is a gift shop with mugs, tee-shirts, honey, maple syrup, cider and donuts.
I thought the bourbon maple syrup looked very delicious... but very expensive.
We invited my parents to come and they were very generous purchasing a gallon of cider and a dozen donuts.
No preservatives in the cider, which makes it very sweet and delicious, like fresh apples.
There is a path that follows the river, we explored the edge of the water and had a very nice walk.
It was a fun evening at the cider mill - we're grateful that we've been making the time to get out of the house for activities again, even if it's cold.

Bless the Most High!
