Today was all scheduled out, I was going to the dentist with my second oldest daughter and then afterwards fishing with my brother. We got up, about to get ready for the dentist appointment, and my daughter woke up with a (very) runny nose. We called ahead and advised we reschedule. So we rescheduled.
Then we got a call from my mother (in law) and she reported that both she and my brother were sick. What's going on here? We are doing what we can to mitigate all of these illnesses, but it seems that there is constantly something going on and around concerning sickness.
The good news is that none of the sicknesses is extremely serious, but enough to cancel plans. Also that I am feeling fine and it's not getting in the way of other projects. The time is not completely lost.
The other good news is that today was freed up to get some more yard work done. It's a beautiful day, sunny but not so hot, perfect for getting more woodchips out. I've been doing a little here a little there, between other projects and weeding. I put on my bluetooth headband, listen to podcasts and get moving.
