Today I did my earliest door knocking to date, I began at 11 and ended at 3:30. I didn't get home until around 4, but this gave me time to clean up and prepare for Sabbath. And get some posts in too!
I visited the home improvement store with my two-year-old and he had a blast seeing all the interesting stuff there. They have their Halloween decorations up already (It's still AUGUST!) and he said "they're creeeeeepy".
We found some straw for our compost pile and charcoal. We have entered the age were a package of wheat straw and two packages of charcoal are $60. Is this really the new normal? When do we all get extra free money to maintain our standard of living?
