My family LOVES greenbeans!
I got out into the garden today and did a bunch of weeding and harvesting. I found lots of green beans on the bush, the more I pick, the more these plants produce!
Our red onions are growing, although the stalks are looking a little sad. I gave them a bunch of fresh compost, but I think I disturbed them when I was weeding a few days back.
Our green bean patch is producing the best among our veggies!
Our eggplants are growing! We harvested one a few days back, now we have two more getting ready for picking.
Our sweet potato vines are flurishing, I'm hoping there are lots of delicious sweet potatoes under the ground. I cut some of them back, so they can put their energy into the potatoes.
We found some sort of squash plant growing in our compost and we let it thrive. It's gotten VERY BIG and we identified it as a PUMPKIN plant!
Under the giant leaves, we see flowers forming. Eventually we'll see a pumpkin begin to grow, that'll be fun! It looks very healthy.
The sunflower is growing huge! We have two growing and one of them is beginning to dry out and form seeds.

The seeds are edible at this stage, they taste sort of like corn.
