Oh boy, the month is ending in three days! 😮 Where did the month go? 😅 I look forward to month end as it's pay day, but a new month brings new challenges -- monthly bills and other expenses. 😆 My goodness we're down to the last quarter soon. I'm not ready for year end, that's for sure. 😵

Happy FriYAY 🎉 A happy weekend to all who work only five days. I still have one more work day, but it does feel like the weekend already. 🤣 Yes, I choose to welcome the weekend on Friday nights. 😉 I'm thankful for another enjoyable Miss Marple show. 🙌 It's my kind of entertainment indeed! 😉 I used to enjoy reading mystery books, but I do need reading glasses now, so it's not as enjoyable to read anymore. 😅

Alive&Thriving FriYay : Month is ending in three..

For lunch, I made myself another breakfast favorite -- scrambled eggs, ham slices, and pork & beans. For a change, I cooked the scrambled eggs on the air fryer. I'm glad there are lots of recipes online on how to do it. First, I melted butter for two minutes. Then, I added the scrambled eggs and cooked for three minutes. I stirred it up and cooked it further for another three minutes. It was soft and fluffy. 😋 I keep it simple so I didn't add cheese. The ham slices were also cooked in the air fryer. 😉 Now I wonder what I'll have for lunch tomorrow. 😂

It's another warm day. Tomorrow I will treat myself to some cooling nights. Daily I do my best to make do with my many electric fans. 😅 Yes, I'm trying to save on electricity bills. That would be difficult to do when the summer season arrives. 😒 oh well...

Choco knots 'coz I need a little more happy 🤣 I'm glad it's not in crumbled pieces (like the milky knots). This was the original flavor, and it's still very good. I just learned my daughter likes the berry knots best. 😅

I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. I'm working towards reaching another payout limit on LL. It will probably take a few more weeks.

There's another day before the week ends, but this is how I feel right now... 😂 I'm just glad the weekend is here again. It will be rest Sunday for me. I like it like that. I wish I could find a pet cleaning assistant to lighten my load in cleaning kitty litter boxes and the guinea pig cage. 🙏❤️💡

Well, the kitties were waiting to enjoy the leftovers so I let them have it. I settled for a lighter dinner. That was my lunch as I usually just have chocoffee (chocolate drink with coffee) and biscuits for breakfast. 😉

Stress hyperglycemia

High blood sugar, also known as hyperglycemia, is a condition where the level of sugar in the blood exceeds the normal limits. This persistent state is characteristic of diabetes mellitus, a condition associated with insulin, a hormone that helps regulate blood sugar levels within the normal range.

Occasionally, individuals who do not have diabetes may experience temporary hyperglycemia, often due to stress. When a person is under stress, their body responds in various ways, including releasing stress hormones such as cortisol, growth hormone, and catecholamines. These hormones counteract the effects of insulin, leading to elevated blood sugar levels to provide energy. If blood sugar is measured during a stressful event, it may be higher than normal, a condition known as stress hyperglycemia. Once the stress subsides, blood sugar levels typically return to normal.
