Several months ago in the dry season, I went to the Cisolok hot spring tourist area,Palabuhanratu Sukabumi district. I used a vehicle from where I live in Sukabumi city to the Cipanas Cisolok location, it took more than two hkurs and a distance of around 78 kilometers.

When I arrived at the Cipanas Cisolok area, there is a ticket seller's gate visitors must buy a ticket for 12.000,IDR or ($0,75) for each person. After the car was Parked, then I walk across the suspension bridge, from a distance I could see radiating of hot springs coming from deep within the earth.

This location has become a tourist spot, Cipanas is in a small hill valley, with cliffs covered with trees as protection. The air is quite hot but not stinging, the land with rocks is where two rivers meet, Cikampak from the west and Cisolok from the east.

The rivers meet their, thus forming a triangular area widening towards the south, which ends with a high hill called mount Tanjung. At the geyser, I tried going down to the river where there was a hot spring and I tried washing my face and washing my feet.

The water was quite hot and container sulfur, hot water that radiates more than three meters high. This water is on the Cikampak river route, this river is not deep, but the current is fast because it is Rocky.

In the Cikampak river where the current is strong but not dangerous and the water is hot, visitors can bathe freely, there are certain part that are free of stones and can used for bathing. The geyser manager also provides pools not far from the hot springs.
