Danielle, ever since being promoted to department head of cardiology had been under too much pressure. She was put up to this position because the previous department head decided to retire but she wasn't ready.
While she had been a good doctor, being the department head is a totally different level. She had to handle scheduling, department metrics, human related issues and also still be able to perform her duties as a doctor.
She know she need a lot more time before being able to fill the shoes required of her. She then told the director of hospital that she needed a little more time to rise up and request help to oversee some of the matters while she get familiarize before taking on everything full fledge. Her request was granted and she breathe a sigh of relief.
