WHAT IS A WITNESS FOR?
Oh boy, that is such a giant question. What is a Witness for?
There is a lot going on, a lot behind the sences. A lot of talk and a lot or arguing. Here is my take.
To put it simply the basics of a Witness is to produce and sign blocks to keep the blockchain secure.
That is it. Simple. And on Hive, Witnesses get rewared in Hive tokens for doing so.
Where it becomes complecated is what ELSE people believe witnesses should be doing to give back to the blockchain. And for as many people as there are on Hive that is about how many ideas and opions there are.
I try and stay out of the drama, just because I am not a drama person. All I can tell you is what I am doing as a Witness. Why I believe I am different as a Witness and hope you understand me and what I am doing.
I could be wrong, and this is not a bribe, but I believe I am the only witness that is giving back to Hivers that support my project. I give back with my DripDay. I have been doing this for over 4 years now, funded mostly by me.
Why would I fund personally giving back? Because I am building a business here on Hive. And when you build a buisness you have to invest. I hoped that my plan, my mission statement would bring me into profit. And I am 99 percent of the way of being in profit.
I will be taking a profit as we move forward. But if The BBH Project earnings grown, through the different income streams including the witness then the weekly drip day will get bigger. The more the project earns the more that goes back to people supporting it.
And I don't thing there is anything wrong with that. Do you?

79 awesome fracking sauce days as a witness we managed to get into 63th place. What a battle this is. Up to 317 supporters. 317 supporters, did you read that. That is Awesome Fracking Sauce. Nothing wrong with that. But I want more, I want to keep growing fast, moving up the charts fast. Business mindset people.. Now the hard part begins. Getting the word out to more people.
I know we will keep moving up the charts. The higher we are, the more Hive income there is, and the higher Drip Day payouts will get. Remember that. That is what is important.
Today we are in 63th place. Here is where we are at today. 8,131,816 Hp in support. Yesterday we where at 8,116,602 in support. To get into 62nd place we need another 243,192 in support. We need alot of little or some big support to come in. Tell the world.
BPUD - THE BBH PROJECT TRIBE POWER UP DAY
The BBHO power up day is going to be the 20th of every month. The same as Cent is on the 10th and Leo for LPUD is on the 15th. Requirments will be only 100 BBHO to power up. DRIP DAY
Saturdays are Drip Day. That means it is/was drip day. Now if you are not a regular reader of mine you are wondering what is drip day.
I run a income token and tipping bot all in one. The token is BBH. Every Saturday I payout the people holding BBH tokens. Passive income if you like. I like to call it a 'drip' of a token(s) to the people that own BBH tokens. And unlike some all you have to do is own it. No staking, no nothing.
If you own 10 or more BBH tokens you got a drip of swap.hive. If you own 5,000 or more BBH tokens you got a drip of swap.hive and the Alive token, and CTP Tokens. If you own 10,000 or more BBH tokens you got a drip of swap.hive, Alive, CTP, and $LEO tokens.
All just for owning BBH. There are two ways you can get BBH. First you can buy them from the open market. I use TribalDex myself.
Or they can be tipped to you. The great part about BBH tipping is that when you tip a token to someone else you do not loose any of your own. There is a central pool that supplies them.
And a third way to get BBH would be people gift them to you. There was an update to the tipping bot. If you now tip 1 BBH you get 1 BBH also. How facking awesome is that.

In a 24 hour period, reset at new day UTC. There are currently five levels of tipping.
Level 1 = 1000 BBH holdings = 1 tip per day you can send
Level 2 = 5000 BBH holdings = 5 tips per day you can send
Level 3 = 20000 BBH holdings = 20 tips per day you can send
Level 4 = 50000 BBH holdings = 50 tips per day you can send
Level 5 = 100,000 BBH holdings = 100 tips per day you can send
