My Weekend Diary on Sep 13, 2024 | A Friday at Home

Hi, there! How are you? I hope that you are doing great. Welcome to my post. It's a short diary on my Weekend!

Last week, the patient inflow was more compared to the week before that. Hence, I was badly waiting for the weekend. Finally, it came. I woke up at 4:40 am. Call for the prayer. Afterward recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran. Then again a second round of morning sleep!

I woke up after 8 am, had my breakfast, talked with my parents over Facebook Messenger, and started playing with my kid. Hide & seek, run between, playing with blocks, preparing household items with his toy tools, etc. I worked on the computer in between!

After 11 am, we prepared for the Jummah prayer. On Friday, I have to bathe my kid. There was no exception this Friday! Then, we left home after 11:40 am for the Jummah congregation. It ended after one hour.

I had a short 10-minute walk on the treadmill before the lunch. I skipped the afternoon nap on Friday. My son too. My wife only had a nap. I worked on the laptop. My son played with his joys and I had to accompany him in between. After 4 pm, we went to the mosque for the Asr prayer.

After 5:30 pm, my son and I went outside to watch the vehicles. We stayed there for around 20 minutes. After 6:20 pm, we went to the mosque to offer the Maghrib prayer.

I had little work in my car following having a small accident on Thursday. The mechanic took my car on Thursday night. After Friday's maghrib, he returned with the car after repairing it. I then had to give him a lift to his workplace.

After Isha prayer, we went out in our car. At first to the frozen fish market. We bought two kinds of fish. Then, we went to the Lulu hypermarket. We purchased the necessary items. The Friday markets cost us 37 OMR! We returned after 10 pm. After doing some work, when we went to bed, it was already past 11:30 pm.

Steps on Friday

  • According to the sweatcoin app: 9871 steps

It sounds like you had a full day of activities, if we shop in a regular store we can never get out without spending over a hundred dollars, prices keep going up.

We do most of our shopping in what we call the cheap store, it is where the major stores donate the items that are going out of date, but we have to watch what we buy because they have started marking the prices up to what you can buy them for at a regular store.
