Eid Mubarak
Today was the second largest festival for us; Eid-ul Adha. The main event of this day is to sacrifice animals for the sake of Allah. However, the first thing of the day was performing the Eid prayer.
In my place of living, the prayer time was at 6:15 am. This prayer takes place in an open field (called Eidgah), instead of in a regular mosque, unless some natural disasters prevent it to be performed in an open space.
The Eid prayer field was a bit far from my home. So, I started my walk towards that field at around 5:25 am.
Early morning street
People were on their way as well
Street in front of Eidgah. A good number of policemen were there to ensure the safety during the prayer. Their vehicles
A good number of Muslims were already there

At home
As we did not sacrifice any animals in Oman (it would be done in my native place tomorrow In Sha Allah), I was at home most of the time. I ate and played with my kid and ate again! It was a day of gaining weight! In the afternoon we took our nap also.
At last the rain came down
Finally, we got the rain, Alhamdulillah. After 2 pm, there was a short period of heavy rain.
After the rain
There were white clouds in the sky
However, the main rain started after 5 pm. The sky was dark. I took a few pictures during the rainfall

In a shopping centre
We had a plan to go to a 1-Riyal shopping centre to buy toys for our kid in the afternoon. Due to rain, we had to delay it. After the Maghrib prayer, we went to the shop.
We bought a few items including two toys. We returned home at around 10 pm.
Okay. It was all about my Eid day. I am alive, healthy and thriving, Alhamdulillah. How about you?
