My chamber updates on Saturday | More injury cases at the clinic | Alive & Thriving on Jun 17, 2023 | Actifit Report number 934

Hi, there! Assalamu Alaikum! How are you? I hope that you are having a fantastic time. Welcome to my post. It is my Actifit report number 934. It is also my Alive and Thriving report on Saturday.

I just came home after finishing today's single duty. This Saturday was busier than the last Saturday. Today I consulted 47 patients in my chamber. In the visa medical section, 16 people came for the check-up.

Today I got more injury cases; all of them came during the evening shift. The first patient in the afternoon came with a big cut injury to his right leg. 9 stitches were required to close the wound. He was from Pakistan. He came with at least 5-6 friends!! During the procedure, 3-4 phone calls came from Pakistan to know about his condition. Such a loved person!

Then came one Bangladeshi worker. He had multiple cut injuries to his left-hand fingers (palmer aspect). The injuries were not big but 4 of those needed stitches; one or more in each wound.

Then came one right-ankle-injury patient. He was also from Bangladesh. He fell from height. His right ankle was quite swollen and severely painful. It seemed that there were fractures. But lucky him, X-ray didn't reveal any obvious fracture.

Then came one worker with his right great toe deep cut injury. The bone was almost exposed. I referred him to a surgeon.

In between, one Indian came with a foreign body (FB) insertion to his right eye. I removed it with a needle. Interestingly, he came on Jun 10 (one week ago) with the same problem and I removed the FB that day too.

Another Indian came with a left middle finger injury. The nail was almost avulsed (detached). Under local anaesthesia, I removed the nail fully.

In the evening, an Indian young man came with severe lower limb muscle cramps. He was screaming due to the cramp or stiff muscles. The painkillers didn't work. I had to refer him.
