Now is the era of technology and mobile and computer are the two biggest achievements of technology. Looks around you and you will see most of the activities which took hours and days can be completed in just few click. The best example is communication, which is in real time now days as compare to old days where A post took days, week even month to each the destination. Now just dial a number and start taking and even the video call which take the calling experience to another level. Not only communication the phone and computer are the source of the knowledge when connected to the internet. A tons of information is available on each and every topic. You name the topic and all details are in front of us just in few seconds. Payments are super easy with computers and mobiles. I love to use both or I will say my life is depending on both for any activities. Even their are many similarities and the mobile is many ways is smaller version of computer only still their are some situations I love to use mobile only and for some situations I love to use the computer only.
No doubt both has importance in my day to day activities and I used them based on the activity I want to do. For some specific task the mobile is suitable and for some tasks the computer is more suitable so it depends on what action I want to perform. For example the process of making payment for purchase in market is super easy with a smart mobile. The UPI transection are very popular in India and it is amazing to see that you can make payment to a vegetables or fruits vendor also using the same and it is accepted by almost every one. No matter you want to make a payment 0.01 USD of 100 USD it's super easy and fast. I am using most of the payment for my purchase using the phone with UPI. This is not possible with the PC as first you can not carry pc with you when going to market and you can not use the PC for making UPI payments.
On the other hand I am more comfortable on computer when I want to write the office long mails, I do not like the small keyboard of mobile and the small screen which some time irritating me when I am reading and reply to mails. Honestly some time I find the mobile keyboard is not much friendly for such tasks and computer do the better job. In similar way I found that the application like whatsapp are super cool to use on mobile as compare to the computer but if someone sent me a large size document related to the office work then I always miss the whatsapp web application. Its super easy to communicate and get connected with friend and family on mobile using the application like whatsapp.
If I talked about the entertainment then mobile are my first choice when ever I am traveling. Its very handy to carry a mobile then the computer or laptop when we are travelling and we can watch our favorite movies and shows anywhere and anytime on phone. I do not find it comfortable to use the laptop when I am traveling in train or travelling by air. Took a scenario when I am waiting for a train on railway platform then its very easy to sit in waiting room and turn on music or video on mobile other then a laptop which itself required a space to place.
But you can not neglect the computer and laptop for the activities where the screen size matters and you need more computation power. One such activity is using the specialized software like 3D modelling and video editing. Such software required the graphics cards and high computation power which is beyond the mobile phone capacity. I am mechanical engineering and uses such software daily and for that I am totally depending on the computers with good processor and ram along with graphics cards.
If someone ask me which one I used the most and like the most then for me it's combination of both mobile and computer.
