On this DailyJam Sunday morning Ashlee picked the topic. Early 2000’s Pop Poppy Punk. The scene where some bands outta punk scene went full pop radio friendly. Actually not bad songs, I remember at time the punks yelling sellout! But I actually got to meet and hang with Ashlee’s band pick Simple Plan and they were great guys.
Ashlee picks Simple Plan’s first record 2002’s “ No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls“ and two songs off it. Gene goes with Blink 182’s fourth album and most pop 2001’s “Take Off Your Pants And Jacket” you gotta say it out loud to get the joke 😂. Ashlee went with two radio singles while Gene picked two songs not released as singles although they should have been!
